The cache name is in remembrance of our dog Duchess and cat Klüdge who passed away recently. The name does not have any significance other than that.
False caches have been placed in the vicinity of the real cache appartently by cashers who thought the real cache was missing. This has happened twice so far. The actual cache container is a large pill bottle, 2" in diameter and 6" long. The log book is a Geocaching log book. Here is a picture for reference:
The hard part is finding the hiding location, and that's why the Difficulty is a 3.
NOTE: THE BUG TRAP IS NOT THE CACHE.
The cache is a camoed pill bottle (as in the photograph). It would be difficult to find when snow is on the ground! This is a ‘log only’ cache. Please bring your own writing implement. Please do not leave anything that will not fit into the cache container.
