Lake Winter was formed by daming the Brunet (pronounced
Bru ne)River. The Brunet River flows from the Chequamegon National
Forest into Lake Winter, a class A Musky Lake. The Brunet continues
to flow into the Chippewa River.
The cache is a large plastic container with log book, pencils and
trade items.
Parking is available at the boat landing off Dam Rd.

Used the driving directions, but also used the "perennials for sale" from another log to help find it.

didnt look at the map...so if there wouldn't have been a sign for "perrenials for sale" and that cought my interest....i would have looked on the wrong side of the dam...but that was my fauld...neat area!
