The winery completely burned the October 2017 Tubbs Fire. The grounds/sculpture gardens and tasting room are now open. Please observe posted signs and open/closed hours. NOTE: Rattlesnakes have been seen nearby; watch for poison oak, too. BE CAREFUL! DO NOT PLACE YOUR HANDS/FEET WHERE YOU CANNOT SEE. A creative and inspirational place on the north side of Santa Rosa; a wonderful sculpture garden with several Burning Man pieces. There is no poison oak within 5' of the cache.
This spot features some outdoor installation art, both permanent pieces and short-term exhibits. I hope you'll find some art you like here (most pieces are for sale), plus hopefully the cache! Check the Paradise Ridge Winery website for visiting times. Suggest close-toed shoes as the area is rocky and weedy and there are critters among the rocks. The coordinates should take you to a coast live oak tree, its single trunk leaning slightly. Look at the base of the tree for a cameo's de-con container. I hope you will agree - the place is very very special. Please replace the cache lid securely. Room for small items.
