Geocache Description:

This earthcache is located next to the Wine cellar cave in National park Ceske Svycarsko.
Tato earthcache sa nachadza pri jaskyni Vinny sklep v NP Ceske Svycarsko.

Many natural processes contribute to the rock formation. Erosion of rocks is one of the factors - it happens also nowadays.
Rock blocks and slopes are in the constant drift, often it is only millimeters or tenths of millimetres per year. It is a natural continuation of the area’s geological development. Small stones often fall down and rock desks break off. Rock blocks are slowly dividing and leaning out. Huge rock blocks and independent towers sometimes collapse.
When the sandstones at the left bank of Krinice were collapsing, the Wine cellar cave was created. A large part of the cave is flooded by water now.

If you want to log this cache, you have to complete three tasks:

1) send me (through my profile) an email with the reason why the cave is called Wine cellar - as there is no English translation at the information board, send me a desription what you can see on the photo at the board

2) how big is (approximately) the left entry of the cave in its lowest point?

3) up to you - take a picture of you inside the cave and upload the image to your log (it is not forbidden to enter, just follow the arrow) - if you have only cellphone camera, a flashlight lighting your face will be useful)

Jde o prirodzene pokracovani geologickeho vyvoje oblasti. Bezne a casto dochazi k opadavani drobneho kameni, ulamuji se deskovite casti ci skalni supiny. Skalni bloky se postupne oddeluji a vyklaneji. Velke skalni bloky i samostatne veze se pak mohou zritit.
Zricenim piskovcovych bloku vznikla take sutova jeskyne Vinny sklep na levem brehu Krinice. Velka cast jeskyne je zaplavena vodou.
