A waterproof match container, this one is surprisingly high (for a turtle).
As I came up to this spot, a small turtle was way up where the cache is now. It took a "dive" all the way into the water hitting the lower branch on the way in.
This cache should only be approached by water in a shallow draft boat (eg: canoe, kayak, raft) as the water is shallow. It's also suggested that you bring your own writing instrument since the one included, if any, may be broken and going back for one would be a real hassle!
Be sure to do your boating safely. The cache is on NC Wildlife Resources Land, so wear the proper clothing during hunting season!
The coords were located using three GPSrs, two Magellan SporTrak Pros and one Garmin etrex. The coords were averaged to get the listed location. In some cases, the coords varied quite a bit. The averaging should get you close.
