Geocache Description:

A small cammo lock & lock container with log only.

To locate this small cache it will be necessary to visit two of the three Public Safety agencies in this small town and obtain a few numbers located there to calculate the coordinates of the final cache. Parking is limited and it is absolutely essential that you refrain from parking in posted areas. Just a short time is not a valid excuse! You will be towed!

When arriving at the area guided by the given coordinates you will find a corner stone with a date. Write this down as it will be important in a later calculation. In addition, please glance in the small window at the center of the building and obtain the numbers off of the blue plate affixed to the longest item located within. (Not to worry the boss there is aware and is part owner of the cache.) If the plate is not there, it's on a call! Simply go right and obtain this number from behind the rail near the item that would be in use while she's out on a run.

Next you should walk or ride east to the rear and obtain another date from a plaque affixed on this agency. The year is all that you will need. Please remember the route number of the street you are on and also the route number of the nearest intersecting street. These will also be used in the calculations.
READ CAREFULLY

OK now for the calculations of the final coordinates:

1. Take the last three digits of the original latitude and subtract from it the last three numbers obtained from the blue plate or it's fill in.

2. Add the route number of the street you are on.
3. Subtract one half of the nearest intersecting route number.
4. Now add 7 to what you have so far.

Your results will give you the last three digits of the latitude for the final cache.

CCC = Your results
Final Latitude = 42-42.CCC

Now for longitude:
1. Subtract (1/2)one half of the intersecting route number from the whole number of the decimal minutes of the original longitude.(No one likes a dozen so make it less.)
WN = Your result working with the whole number

2. Take the last three digits of the year on the second agency and subtract from it the last three digits of the given longitude.

3. Now subtract the last two digits of the date obtained off of the first cornerstone.

4. Finally subtract 10 from this result. Your calculation will give you the last three digits of the longitude of the final cache.
BBB = Your results for last three.
Final Longitude = 073-WN.BBB

Please plug the results into your GPSr and good luck locating the final cache.
42-42.CCC
073-WN.BBB

The cache is a small camo lock and lock container and is log only for the time being. Please place back and hide as well as you located it. During the warmer months several muggles may be found. Please be discrete.
