Geocache Description:

It’s close to the administrative bureau of GPS in Japan here.
The DISH plays an important role in the national surveying
activities as the source of the base data.
Is has maintained approximately 130,000 national control
points of various kinds throughout the country, which are
triangulation points for precise positional data
(longitude and latitude), benchmarks (elevation) and such.
There is a rumor that the DISH is also used to exchange
messages with UFO in local people…

There is “The Science Museum of Map and Survey” that
Geocacher must be interested in near the cache.
The Science Museum is open 9:30-16:30, closed every Monday.

The noise of traffic might be heavy, but enjoy the view of
the DISH and the thoughts go out to the universe.

Caution:Please keep off the roadway!

ここは“日本のGPSの大元締め”のすぐ近くです。
このDISHは世界測地系の維持や人工衛星などの軌道測定に役立っています。
周辺住民の中にはUFOと交信していると本気で信じている人もいるとか？

DISHと同じ敷地内には、ジオキャッシャーにとって興味深い（？）と思われる
「地図と測量の科学館」（無料）があります。
この科学館、普段は受付のお姉さんしかいませんが、突っ込んだ質問をすると
時間さえあれば奥から研究員の方がやってきていろいろ詳しく教えてくれます。
ちなみに科学館は月曜定休（月曜日が祝日だと火曜日休み）、
開館時間は午前9時30分〜午後4時30分です。

隠し場所は敷地の外です。すぐそばを通る車の音がうるさいですが、
探索には影響ないと思います。宇宙への思いを馳せてみてください。

注意：大変危険なので決して車道には出ないようにしてください！
