Cache is an ammo box placed at lake level just off of a trail with beautiful views of the "Jewel of the Sierra". The trail is steep, so be cautious decending from Edgewater. Take some time to enjoy the magnificent views ! Cache also makes a great kayak find if paddling around The Point ! In the warmer months wear your swimsuit as this is an excellent place to swim !
The Dollar Point Dollar Cache contains new items for the kids visiting Lake Tahoe. PLEASE REPLACE ONLY WITH NEW ONE DOLLAR PRICED ITEMS OR ONE DOLLAR BILLS! Too many caches are becoming trash cans, a cache in this location deserves better, please do your part. After enjoying a summer swim in The Lake you may even want to show your kids the right thing to do: pack out an empty can or wrapper left by someone else !
