The second cache of the Goondocks series in a generally unknown trail system in Hooksett. Bring your bug spray! Parking at 43 05.508 071 28.246
This is the location of the Fishermen's Fort. It was here that it's believed that the fugatives tried to build a fortress to fend off the posse coming to recover the stolen treasure. Why they never finished no one quite knows. Many suspect that the treasure was buried on this site. Many have searched but none have ever recovered it.
The cache is a micro containing only a log. Please bring your own writing tool. Happy hunting and be sure to mark the parking coordinates. We'd hate for you to meet the same end as the ill-fated fisherman.
