Geocache Description:

Easy to find cache, but reasonable walk (20 minutes each way) to "Seed and O'Brien's Sawmill" boiler located in the Otaki forks.

Just inside bush line near boiler location on the Waiotauru walk. 1 Litre capacity clear plastic snap-lock sistema container.

Several kilometres of narrow winding good condition dirt road. Very scenic, suitable for cars (4x4 not needed).

From the Waiotauru car park. Follow track through
manuka trees and bush before coming out on
grassy river terraces to the boiler and other
remaining machinery that drove the sawmill from
1929 to 1931. Return the same way.
