Geocache Description:

This cache is on a not well known trail into Laurelwood Park. The trailhead is not marked as an entrance to the park, but can be identified by the red fire danger sign. There is a trail sign down the path a bit.

You don't need to leave the trail to find the cache.

Laurelwood Park is a nice neighborhood park at the base of Sugarloaf Mountain. It has a meadow and playground on the Western side, to the East it covers a deep valley through which the Laurelwood Creek flows East towards the bay. There is a nice paved trail along the creek.

GPS reception is a little difficult at the cache location, but you don't need to leave the trail so it shouldn't be too hard to find.

As of 04/24/18 the cache is a small camo painted box. Please leave lid down so water doesn't collect in it. Please bring a pen.

Please do not log a find if you do not find the container!
