I parked at Langley Pkwy where my Happier Trails Cache is is (GC143DX) I rode my bike to see where the trail went. This cache is it[:)] I had no idea where I was so I rode my bike up the road to look for a sign. It's Auburn St off of Centre St on one end and Little Pond Rd at the other. Great trails[^]
I had two caches with me to hide along the trails. When I found this entrance to the trails where you can avoid the hospital & Pleasant St traffic, I was so thrilled that I went home to grab a little gas saver cache to hide. I drove back & thought the guard rail a few hundred feet in would be excellent ... Hannah & I went trekking along & I popped the little round lock n lock into the end rail ... WHOA
Yellow Jackets came out in full force
I got stung & thought I could go get some deet spray & a stick to retrieve my cache. OH NO
They laugh at Deet! Hannah got stung! I had to go to the bank anyway so I stopped over at the nearby store & bought TWO cans of hornet spray
Back we went. I left Hannah in the car. This Sniper Chckn wasn't clowning around XXX
XXX I emptied one can into the guard rail, waited a bit, used my stick to flip my little container out. It has 4 tiny micro racing cars. UH-OH ... still some more hornets
I sprayed from the second can ... they have to be D E A D now
Grabbed the cache & took off ... Back to the car ... I hid the cache in the original gas saver/time saver spot I considered
Please rehide well as this could be a muggle spot near the gate. It was cloudy: 25'accuracy
