Train spotting is a hobby where you hunt down trains and record
they details such as train numbers, engine type etc. Its a funny
hobby almost as strange as people looking for lunch boxes in the
bush. Well maybe not that strange.
You need to find one the large girls of the rails, on their
sides is a large number. The number is ABCD.
All three of the girls can be seen on a regular basis between
Britomart and either Waitakere or Pukekohe.
You don't need to pay to see the girls, but if you want to take
a ride you will be required to buy a ticket. You only need to find
one of the girls to locate the cache.
Please include the location you spotted the girls in your
logs.
This cache is a replacement for our first Train Spotting Cache,
which the reviewers felt was too dangerous. This cache is quite a
distance from any tracks and you would need to cross a barb wire
fence as well (Which is not recommend or required).
At no time do you need to walk on any train tracks, to find
this cache or the trains. So please use your common sense, and be
sure to watch out for young cachers.
