Geocache Description:

Ummmm they are getting harder now! A lesser used beach but has been the focus of much contraversy in relation to its disappearing sand dunes! You may even have to cross a watery inlet if the tide is not in your favour. No risk to safety and you can cross without getting wet! There is a bit of a trek up to the cache site, again this seems quite safe. Would not advise in a storm though

Ok as accuracy is not optimal here (8 meters on a good day!) you need to follow the pathway off the beach up the cliff. You will see the rockfall at the top of the sandy path. Once you reach the top of the rockfall part, if you look right there is a path not even the 'Nu Nutcase Crew' would contemplate!! LOL. DONT go onto that 'goat' or 'serious climbers' trail. There are a couple of interesting caves in the area too worth a look at as one seems to go a long way under the cliff.

This is the next letter in the Hexy Alphabet Trail. This has been set up for any one to participate in but is especially created with the Dunedin Cachers in mind for some caching fun over winter, as from start to finish it will take several months to complete. Visitors and non collectors are welcome to visit and log and swap at any of these caches but i would respectfully ask that if you are not completing the whole alphabet that you do not take a letter as they are in short supply!
