A popular harbourside wander. Park in the carpark by JG Gardeners.
Wander towards the causeway to find this cache. Accesible to the
site for all but not the actual cache. Advise keeping children,
wheelchairs and any pets away from the cache location or use
caution. They can be safely within 1 metre of the hiding place.
Rocks a plenty are here. However this site is just short of a few
metres of a grouping of rocks steming up from the harbourside
towards the road. A crafty hidden 400ml cache not visible at any
distance. Letter K in our alphabet cache with room for swaps for
those not collecting. Find the Couriers Building, place yourself
opposite it on the harbour side. Find the nearest streetlamp and
walk towards the water. Accuracy is 5 meters.
This is the next letter in the Hexy Alphabet Trail. This has
been set up for any one to participate in but is especially created
with the Dunedin Cachers in mind for some caching fun over winter,
as from start to finish it will take several months to complete.
Visitors and non collectors are welcome to visit and log and swap
at any of these caches but i would respectfully ask that if you are
not completing the whole alphabet that you do not take a letter as
they are in short supply!
