A good walk (or bike ride) to a stunning view of the Nelson region.
This cache will require a good walk along the top of the Barnicoat Range above Stoke and Richmond.
It is situated in the large saddle you can see from down on the flats.
You can approach it from the Barnicoat track at the top of Marsden Valley which will give you a 2 hour walk, or from the Richmond Fire tower area which is possibly a little shorter. It will obviously be much quicker on a bike.
The view from the site is stunning.
The cache is a small snaptop with room for small items.
