Gammel Torvedag anno 1890

Gammel torvedag i Svendborg fejre 30 års jubilæum d. 2/8-07
Torvedagen afholdes den første torsdag i august hvert år.
Der forefindes salgsboder m. personale fra byens handlende. Alle er udklædte i tidens stil. Der er aktive gamle håndværkere på pladsen og i løbet af dagen er der masser af underholdning. Alt er holdt i tiden fra dengang. Dagen afsluttes med torvebal til midnat.

Old Market day in the year 1890

8. of august 2007 Old market day in Svendborg is celebrating it´s 30 year anniversary.
The first Thursday in august every year the market day take place.
It contains booths with staff from the shops in town. All dressed in close from the year 1890.
There are old tradesmans on the market, and a lot of entertainment. The day is finished with a market dance until midnight.
