bthomas originally placed this cache, but maintenance issues dictated that a more "local" cacher assume the responsibilities. He offered me the opportunity to adopt this one, and I gladly accepted...after all, I've always wanted to own a SHM cache and this was my chance. Thanks, b!
Just my contribution to the series. A crossroads here, of Fremont's pathfinding explorations, Donner Party and other emigrant's Forty Mile Desert, the Paiute Indian War, the Transcontinental Railroad, and the road to Burning Man. Log is printed on waterproof paper that can only be permanently signed in ink, so be sure to bring along a pen.
