Geocache Description:

We invite you all to join us in the celebration of our 5 year anniversary of this addictive obsession (and our 25,000th find, our 400th hide & our 500th FTF). We look forward to seeing you all and sharing all the great memories.

This can be a multi-stage event (if you are game), or just join us at Stage 2:

Stage 1: For those adventurous souls, we invite you to visit our first find: GC3A4 Bishop's Gambit. By 11:11 AM on 11/11, we will be placing instructions that will lead you to six brand new caches that are being hidden in honor of today's festivities. In five of those new caches you can grab a chit that is redeemable for an additional raffle ticket at this afternoon's celebration. (These caches will go live after the event.)

Stage 2: From 2:30-5:30 we will be partying at the posted coords for a traditional geocaching “Meet & Greet” event at Max's Diner in San Ramon.  Festivities will include schmoozing with your fellow cachers and a raffle drawing (all attendees will receive a raffle ticket).  Groundspeak, Coins & Pins, HogWild Stuff, among others have graciously agreed to donate goodies for the celebration.

Note: If you can, please make your food selections in advance, so that Max’s can accommodate us on a timely basis.   Just check out the selections: Max's Menus and post your choices (or drop us an email) by Friday, November 9th.  Of course, they will be able to accommodate our usual last minute crowd.

We'll also have a game of name that cacher. I'm putting together a collage of pictures of many folks that we've cached with over the last 5 years. A special prize for the person that can correctly identify the most!
