Préaux St-Sébastien est un petit
village très calme du Pays d’Auge. C’est un très joli
coin pour les randonnées à pied comme à vélo, le GR de Pays Le Tour
du Pays d’Auge y passe. Préaux St-Sébastien était une halte
de pèlerinage d’un des trajets vers le Mont St-Michel.
C’était aussi le centre d’un pèlerinage régional pour
St-Sébastien. De nos jours le pèlerinage se limite au Lundi de
Pentecôte.
Il y a à Préaux une superbe chambre
d’hôte dont les hôtes sont tout simplement charmants. Je vous
suggère d’y passer une nuit et de goûter aux superbes «
madeleines de Micheline ». Vous en garderez un souvenir inoubliable
;-))
Vous pouvez leur dire que vous faites du géocaching, maintenant ils
connaissent !

Préaux St-Sebastien is a small very calm
village in the Pays d’Auge. It is a very pretty place for
excursions by feet or bicycle, the GR Le Tour du Pays d’Auge
pass there. Préaux St-Sébastien was a halt of pilgrimage of one of
the ways towards the Mont St-Michel. It was also the center of a
regional pilgrimage for St-Sebastien. Nowadays the pilgrimage is
limited to the Whit Monday.
There is in Préaux a superb Bed &
Breakfast whose hosts are quite simply charming. I suggest you
there spending a night and tasting with the superb « madeleines of
Micheline”. You will have an unforgettable memory of it;
