Geocache Description:

Another in the series of wonderful Waitakeres waterfalls, although not that easy to get to, its well worth a visit.

A great place to enjoy the beauty of the Waitakeres. Have lunch here, maybe a swim or at least a paddle, before heading back.

The cache is named after the bivouac we found not far away.

For some brave or foolhardy souls this may simply be an intermediate point on a journey deeper into the bush and so the theme of the cache is one of "assistance". With the bivouac up the way, the cache contains a space blanket and a few medical supplies. We'd encourage fellow cachers to add to the contents just in case one of us has to spend
longer in the bush than planned!

When placed a Tibetan prayer wheel miniature was added to safe keep passers by. Feel free to swap it.

Another one for the bush bashers! Come prepared to get dirty with good footwear, outdoor gear and plenty of food. Take care around the cache site, its slippery.
