–noun
1. past year(s)
2. the recent years; the time that has elapsed

–adverb
3. during time not long past

The Yesteryear series of caches are not meant to be difficult, but are meant to tell a story about a landmark or event of when I was a kid growing up in Ottawa.
The items described may or may not be in existence anymore. They are simply mentioned as my own personal "walk down memory lane."
Some of you may remember them - some of you may not.
I hope you enjoy them...

YESTERYEAR – Grant Public School

Grant Public School, which was directly adjacent to the West of St. Leonard’s Catholic School, on the other side of the fence, was in constant competition of just about everything with St. Leonard’s. While in my attendance at St. Leonard’s, many a snowball or mud-ball would “inadvertently slip” out of my hands, over the fence and onto Grant School property. I received many wrongful detentions by these snowballs simply “slipping” out of my hands and into some poor soul’s face on the other side of the fence.

Ahh… Memories… Good times. Good times…

The container you will be looking for is a small cylindrical weather-proof match stick container.

There’s only room for the small logbook, the pencil, and a FTF prize.

I hope you enjoy my “Yesteryear” walk-down-memory-lane caches.
