How Geocaching Works
The cache is a painted peanut butter jar on an island on the Holcombe flowage. The island sees a lot of muggles during weekends in the summer, so stay stealthy.
I bought myself a one-man sailboat the other day and took it for it's maiden voyage on the Holcombe flowage. Due to a mechanical malfunction, I tipped it over with a gust of wind. It was the middle of the week and nobody was around to help me out, so I swam to this island to drop off the part that fell off and the dagger board. After swimming back to the boat, I uprighted it and pushed it back to the island. There I fixed the problem with a stick and nursed it back home. After this I figured I'd honor the "shipwreck" by placing a cache on the island.
