The first part of the cache is set in one of the many superb parks that Melbourne has to offer and somewhere the geo-kids can have some fun as well. The park area is also geo-dog friendly so bring your four legged friend along as well for the fun.
At the listed waypoint above you’ll find yourself in a small playground situated close to where we were staying and came to play with the kids when we weren’t out caching.
To find the final location between five and six hundred meters from here, you’ll have to figure out the following questions.
27/4/2025: The final coordinates have not changed but the questions has been updated until the playground is reworked.
A = How many slats make up the 2 seats at the nearby table set.
B = How many pieces of metal form the set of swings? (Count the welded upper blue piece as 3)
D = How many slats are on the seat near the drinking fountain.
H = How many rivets in a swing seat?
The final location is:
S 37º AB.BDD
E 145º 0B.HHH
The cache is a metal ammo box containing a log book, pen and various trade items to keep the geo-kids and adults happy.
We hope you enjoy this cache and a big thank you must be said to the 'Doncaster Wanderers' who have agreed to maintain the cache for us.
Cache was adopted by geo_jas September 2012. I'm pleased to be able to keep this cache going.
