Historisches

Der Galgenberg ist ein weiterer eindruckvoller archäologischer Fundplatz dessen Geschichte bis in das 5. Jahrhundert vor Christus zurückreicht und es wohl als noch älter angenommen werden kann.
Anfänglich diente dieser Bereich als Bestattungsplatz bis zum späten Mittelalter. Danach erst wurde er bis 1819 als Richtplatz genutzt, daher auch der Name.

Gehängter

Eine andere Form des Gehängten ist hier oben in Norddeutschland anzutreffen.
2cl Korn und darüber ein Sild oder eine Sardelle. Den Fisch kauen und mit dem Korn hinunterspülen, na denn Prost.

Historical

The Galgenberg (gallows hill) is another interesting archeological place which history reaches in the 5th century before Christ and assumed as rather older.
In the beginnings this place was a gravesite until the late middle age. From then it became a place of execution until 1819, and got its name.

2cl corn schnapps and a sild or a sardelle. Chew the fish and flush it down with the schnapps, Prost.
