I was a little surprised to find that there were no caches in
Grindstone Provincial Park, which either means that nobody in this
cottage community is a cacher or they haven't bothered to plant
any. Either way, I have planted the first cache for the area. Woo
hoo.
I took some effort in preparing this cache so be warned that you
are NOT looking for a camoed container or the like. This cache is
designed to blend seamlessly into the surrounding geography. I've
hidden it in plain sight, you just have to let go of you caching
preconceptions and be perceptive. You drove a long ways to get
here. Don't go home empty handed.
You can drive to within a few hundred meters of the cache.
Resist the urge to pull over on the side of the road and bushwack
600 m through the bush. Turn right at the General store (you can
purchase a provincial park day-pass here) and park at 50 14 245 N
96 44.975 W.
It is very small. Nano is a better description than Micro.
However, the vessel is about the size of a softball. (if you find
it, you'll understand. Just look for the softball first, then the
nano.
The cache contains only an inch-wide, tightly rolled log sheet.
No pencil. No room for trades. Your reward is the hunt(hopefully
you find it satisfying) Please replace the capsule just as you
found it. The cache is waterproof if replaced with care.
I can send a FTF certificate via email if you manage to bag this
one. You'll need to contact me with a specific description of the
cache to prove you found it.
Please publish NO SPOILERS. I find the satisfaction of a
successful hunt is diminished if someone has told you exactly what
to do. Allow others to experience the frustration and success for
themselves.
Good luck!
