Geocache Description:

The Cromwell Cache is HOTT!! Take a hike through the searing Mexican desert to find this well marked cache...

Anchor your boat in the bay, swim ashore to the whale skull monolith beach, follow the draniage pathway to the unmarked dirt road, and follow the dirt road through the desert about half a mile. Make sure to bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and decent shoes.. it's rough out there in the desert!

Additionally, if you can use some satellite maps to trace where the road goes to/comes from, the road looks somewhat decent and occasionally trafficked, so you could probably drive to the cache if you have a decent, desert-worthy car or truck.

The cache is on the top of a small bluff, about 50 yards off the road. It's marked by a wide, flat pile of rocks on top of it, to protect it and mark it.

The captain of our boat would be happy to check on the cache when he is in the area, which is usually at least twice a year.
