ganurse: Unfortunately, we couldn't locate anyone to "adopt" this cache and was moving to Colorado, so we couldn't maintain the cache long-distance...thus its been archieved.

This is my first multicache hide and a practice for future hides. Your opinions with this quick hide will be greatly appreciated as it will be a basis on future multicache hides I attempt.
This is a 5-stage multicache that should take less than an hour (if you do your math correctly). It’s also in a high-traffic driving area, so stealth is a must! Parking at the curb near the primary coordinates is suggested as all the other points are well within walking distance. Don’t bring the geodog or geokids (unless they are older) as traffic can be unpredictable....depending on the time of the day.
HINT: As you do the caculations, keep a careful listing of the different coordinates you come up with as each stage will be based on your previous caculations.
STAGE #1 – Find the three digit number on the tree.
• Add the 3 digits from the tree together, take that total and subtract 10. Add this new number to the originally-listed north coordinates to find STAGE #2 XXX North coordinate --- N 37 32.XXX
• Add the 3 digits from the tree together, take that total and multiply x4 then subtract 8. Add this number to the originally-listed west coordinates to find STAGE #2 YYY West coordinate --- N 122 16.YYY
STAGE #2 – Find the phone number listed on the sign
• Divide the last 4 digits of the phone number by 275. Take that number and add the number from STAGE #2's north coordinates to obtain STAGE #3 XXX North coordinate --- N 37 32.XXX
• Divide the last 4 digits of the listed number by 275. Take that number and subtract it from STAGE #2 coordinates to obtain STAGE #3 YYY West coordinate --- N 122 16.YYY
STAGE #3 – Find the object with additional STAGE #4 coordinates listed
STAGE #4 – 2 street names listed
• Add the total number of letters in the 2nd street name listed (don’t count the space). Divide this number by 3 and add 7. Subtract the caculated number to STAGE #4's coordinates to obtain STAGE #5 XXX North coordinate --- N 37 32.XXX
• Add the total number of letters in the 1st street name listed. Multiply this number by 1 and add 1. Subtract this number from STAGE #4's west coordinates to obtain STAGE #5 YYY West coordinate --- N 122 16.YYY
STAGE #5 --- CACHE!!!!
UPDATE 9/5/07: At the urging of another geocacher, I am re-enabling this cache as it was originally produced. Also, with her help, the coordinates and math was verified. I also decided to make the waymarks available to other...thanks Joan!!!
