Geocache Description:

The cashe is behind the stations of the Cross under a great rock. The size of the cashe is 20x10x6 cm. Altitude is 211-m.

Bodajk is a village 22 km from Székesfehérvár in the direction of Mór. Lake Bodajk and especially the valley of brook Gaja are special natural assets and popular places of excursions. The Roman Catholic church together with the calvary is a shrine.

Hieratically war in this place better than thousand years ago a chapel, founded by the first hungarian King St. Stephen. Here war a Holy-Well place, and he came several times to pray.

The baroque style church with the baroque stations of the cross were built between 1736-1744, next to the Holy-Well. Since that time is this place a popular pilgrim shrine. In 1942 was a pilgrim court built to the church, for fifteen thousand pilgrim.

From the calvary you can see wonderful panorama.

The Bodajk lake is ananother sight of the village. It has karst fountains, formerly they were warm, but now by reason of mines they are lesser and coldness.

All places of interest are around the church in the middle of the village.
