The cache is located at Historic Cemetary #14 in Warren RI. It is right off Rt. 136, which is a very busy road and one of the main routes from Rt. 195 to Newport RI. This is close to a park and grab. Best parking is off Schoolhouse Rd. Turn east on Schoolhouse from 136. A few hundred yards down Schoolhouse you will see a turn into a large parking lot. Park in here. Cemetary is on the East side of the parking lot on the edge of the woods.
Decided this would be a great place for a travel bug hotel. It's right on Rt. 136 which most people use to get to Newport. It is a very old cemetary with graves going back to the early 1800's. Muggles will be few to nonexistant. You may run into someone in the parking lot from the bus company or the school that occupies the building in the middle of the parking lot. If anyone asks, tell them you're visiting historic cemetaries and this one is on your list. THE CACHE IS NOT IN THE STONE WALL!!!. Please do not start taking apart the stone wall to look for it. This wall has been here for around 200 years and I don't want to be responsible for it falling down now. The cache is a snap lid, waterproof container and contains a logbook and 4 travel bugs to get the "hotel" going. As busy as this area is, I spooked a White Tail Deer just behind the cemetary when I went to look for a spot to put the cache. This should be fairly easy and quick and should facilitate the movement of travel bugs.
A note of caution. The intersection of Schoolhouse and Rt. 136 is very busy and has been the site of numerous accidents. Be alert when turning here and keep an eye on the traffic around you. I realize now that after recent events I should have made this an daylight only cache. This being a historic cemetary it attracts the notice of police if people are roaming around after dark. I think they're guarding against vandalism, and people in cemetarys after dark arouse suspicion.
