Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT LOCATED AT THE ABOVE LISTED COORDINATES.
You would need a boat to visit those coordinates which would provide you a nice view of the boathouse but you will not find a geocache there!

The Whiting Boathouse, built in 1932 by Paper Manufacturer Frank B Whiting, was donated to the City of Neenah to house their Police Boat in the early 1950's. Located at 98 Fifth St in Neenah, WI (near Doty park) is this wonderful historic place to visit and explore. According to the Park and Rec department, this building is the "most popular rented facility in Neenah" as it houses all sorts of gatherings. Though not currently listed as a "historic landmark" this building most certainly should qualify due to it's wonderful historic roots in this community and it's continued use. Now onto the puzzle!

In order to determine all of the digits of the cache's coordinates you will need to visit the Whiting Boathouse (see starting Waypoint or simply use the address listed above). On your visit of the Boathouse grounds, you will need to do a little exploring and looking around. All of the information needed should be present and you will not need to enter the building.

As you start exploring you will notice the donation dedication plaque near the starting Waypoint. (Also seen in one of the Gallery pictures) Missing from the gallery picture is a date at the bottom of the plaque. 195D.

Also near this spot by the entrance are some neat canoe/boat flower pots. There are E pots here

On the fence is a Coast Guard Auxiliary sign. The last digit for the information phone number is G

A= Number of apple trees in the yard

I= Number of stairways outside the building

H= Number of doorways on the north end

B= Number of Cottonwood trees inside the fence

F= Number of boat doors on the river side of the boathouse

Behind you along the water, closer to Doty park are some public Boat Launches with 3 docks. The middle dock has 1J Pillars holding it up. In front of the boat launch is a very sturdy Launch Fee Box No. C MFG By Tohak & Son Welding Greenbay, WI.

Now that you have explored this historic boathouse and some of the surrounding area, you should have your numbers. Enjoy your search for the Geocache! P.S. The Hint/Spoiler is indeed a Spoiler for this one if you are familiar with the Neenah area. Please do not use it if you want the fun of exploring the Boathouse.
