This cache is our first and we hope that you will enjoy it. The cache will take you on a walk of about a mile over pretty level ground through two small and pretty nature reserves. The ground can be a bit sticky in places after rain and it may be slightly narrow and difficult for buggies in places.
Parking should not be a problem as this is usually a quiet little corner. The church is very pretty and you will need the following information:
A = The time of Evening Service
B = The 3rd or 5th number of the Parish office dial code
C = The number of Services each Sunday
Add these to the following co-ordinates to find the next waypoint. Please use the marked footpaths to find:
N 51 31.ABC
W 002 31.CCB
When you find waypoint 1 you will need to discover the following:
D = No. of Pond Skaters shown multiplied by 2 plus the number of spines in the name of the fish.
E = No. of Common Frogs minus 1
F = No. of Pond Skaters
Add these to the following co-ordinates to find the next waypoint:
N 51 31.DEF
W 002 31.CCD
When you find waypoint 2 you will need to discover the following:
G = The Number of the Willow
H = The Number of the Silver Birch
I = The number of the Mountain Ash
J = The Number of the Sweet Chestnut
Add these to the following co-ordinates to find the Cache:
N 51 31.JGA
W 002 31.HJI
To make this a circular walk continue over the bridge, through two gates and across a field back to your starting point.
