On the Two Brooks Trail, which loops through the Alan & Edgar Rice Natural Area, in New Boston
This is one of our favorite local walks. The entire trail is only a 3/4 mile long loop, but is steep in places. The trail crosses the Piscataquog brook, climbs a steep hill, and follows along a small gorge (Caution: stay on the trail and hold the kids' hands).
Parking can be found just south of the trail head on Lyndeboro Road, on the other side of the road.
The cache: A regular sized tupperware container, containing some small trade items. Reception was a little spotty in here, so we're starting with a good hint. We had an accuracy of 24 feet at the time of placement. Since this is protected land, the cache is placed very close to the trail.
