Dunnie with a View (Wellington) Traditional Geocache

snail_trailing: Sadly this cache has proven to be a failure due to intensive muggle use of the area. A new cache will be placed nearby in its place. I would like to apologise to the TB owners with TB's in my cache.

I have looked into a direct replacement or slight change of location of the cache however I feel the new one will be superior and hopefully more muggle resistant.

Thankyou to all those who sought out "Dunnie with a View" and I hope you all enjoy the new cache even more. I hope to have it up and running this week so get ready for "Dunnie Meditation".

Geocache Description:

This cache is on the southern coast of Wellington, New Zealand with a view of the South Island on a sunny day. I chose this place as it is an area I often visit with friends or family for a picnic or fish & chips. If you sit here for a while, you should be able to identify at least 3 modes of transport go past.

You can park 20m from the cache which is at an approximate altitude of 2m. As this is my first cache hide, I have made it easy. The terrain is not difficult; however I would image someone in a wheelchair would not be able to do this as the ground is not firm. You could easily do this one after Albert’s Post, as it is out to the coast from there.

The cache is a 1 litre sistema container painted a cream colour. It is held in place with a stretchy cord to prevent it disappearing in a storm. Please lift the cord and replace it securely after logging.

The cache should contain a log book, 2 pencils and a pencil sharpener (please e-mail let me know when the log is full and if something is missing). Upon placement it also contained 2 packets of tradable items for children and a geocoin.

***WARNING*** Please do not bring children to this location after dark as it becomes a slightly different kind of area.
