algumas pontes (materiais e elementos decorativos).
recusa.
Cronologia
1915 - Projecto do arquitecto
das espécies arbóreas existentes na mata;
se resumia ainda e apenas às suas estruturas fundamentais;
Inacabado, orçamentavam, na altura, as obras em 370 contos;
madeira, base estruturante de todos os pisos;
S.A. através de um contrato de longa duração, renovável;
social e hoteleira - Proj. do Arqº. Paulo Tonet; Novembro - Joaquim
restantes credores;
1985, 20 Fevereiro - Despacho de classificação, com homologação em
IIP;
hipotecada;
1998 - comprado pela Caixa Geral de Depósitos;
2006 - o imóvel encontrava-se à venda.
Características
Particulares
A mata, exibindo
pinheiro bravo, castanheiros, salgueiros, mimosas, sobreiros,
barroco. |

A rebellion cache
to show how we maintain our heritage. A beautiful palace that is in
a state wailful. This is one of the bad examples we have. Use to
enjoy this beautiful architecture, before it is destroyed. Can not
enter the property, but you can enjoy the beauty of the
building.
The Castle of D. Chica, also known as Castle of
Palmeira, Casa Chica or the Palace of D. Chica, is located in the
village and Town of Palmeira, County and District of Braga,
Portugal.
This is a palatial building, which is about an
eclectic Romanesque style, designed by architect Ernesto
Korrodi.
The building consists of four floors. It develops a
set of very strong volumes and a huge diversity of languages and
use of materials, mixing popular and erudite memories. Isolated,
the volumes have an image itself and establish connections through
some bridges (materials and decorative elements). For the analysis
of the details of construction refers to the importance given to
the image, rather than a method of construction. The windows are
either wood or iron, or, taken with the two materials, is difficult
to know whether they comply with a draft implementation of the work
or if, the image defined by the architect Korrodi, the constructive
solution would be in charge of different artists / craftsmen.
However, the tiles are "signed" by the designer. Color of green
pretend to integration in the landscape that the rest of the
building refused.
Chronology
1915 - Project of the Swiss architect, naturalized Portuguese by
marriage, Ernest Korrodi and built by João José Ferreira Rego,
married Francisca Peixoto Rego a Brazilian Peixoto Rego, that had
come from Brazil many of the trees in the forest;
1919 - Suspension of works, when the interior of the building, is
also summarized and only in their fundamental structures,
unfinished, budgeted at the time, works in 370.000 Escudos;
1938 - Sold to 165 stories a English nobleman who later sold by
the 80.000 Escudos to the custody of the books of Vizela Conde,
Alberto Torres de Figueiredo, Joaquim Francisco Alves de Macedo
bought the palace and started work inside, without any plan for
recovery in an unsuccessful attempt to revive the idea of previous
owners, but in vain, because many differences have arisen during
the work, primarily with the local authority, destroyed the little
that is left of interior decorative elements above the level of
ceramics (tiles , tijoleiras and tiles), not leaving any trace for
a possible replacement of parts, some references of the second
older people, of great artistic interest, beyond the removal of all
wood, basic structure of all floors;
20 th, the second half - Acquired by the Board of the Town of Palm
concession building to IPALTUR, Investimentos Turísticos, SA
through a long-term contract, renewable;
1992 - Adaptation described as processing a cultural and
recreational space as well as restaurant and other social services
and hotel - Proj. of Arq º. Paulo TONET; November - Joaquim Costa,
manager IPALTUR, the pink palace the company "Veloso - Residential
and Tourist Enterprises," in view of the alleged payment of a
doubt, this was not accepted by the other creditors;
1985 Feb 20 - Order of classification, with approval in IIP;
1993 - Proposed the application of bankruptcy IPALTUR by Caixa
Geral de Depósitos, the main creditor of the firm, and uncertain
fate on the possession of the property, having been
mortgaged;
1998 - bought by Caixa Geral de Depósitos;
2006 - the property had been for sale.
Personal Characteristics
The work did not seek another unit that was not that
of a flamboyant eclecticism where the mixed neogótico the neoárabe,
the "rustic" and brand new iron (railing, crowning the coverage and
Catavento) and where the reason that led to the repetition of the
"leaf of age, both in the design of the iron railing, and in some
frames of marble, was as valid as the application of different
floral motifs in different capitals of the colonnade in partnership
with the Rosaceae geometric in closures of ogival arches.
Comments
The forest, displaying an exotic vegetation (Brazilian
tree, lignum vitae, araucaria, etc..) Besides many domestic
varieties (palm, oak, eucalyptus, plane trees and cedars,
japoneiras, pine, chestnut, willow, mimosa, cork , etc..), with
undulating paths and lake with fake stalactites of the cave is very
interesting, being the logical consequence of the romantic
attitude, which you copy the medieval, the headquarters of a
national language of purity, and copy the nature, preferring the
"forest" to geometric baroque garden. |
