Located in Coolidge State Park. This cache was placed in honor of my mother. The container is gone. Just take a picture of yourself at GZ and post it on the page to get credit.
Ranger Janey (mom) once climbed the hill here in the winter on snowshoes. At the top she decided she couldn't make it down so Ranger Bill kindly told her she had no choice. This cache is placed at the bottom of the hill in an historic site in her honor. She would have wanted it this way.
10/5/2009 - The CCC built a log pavilion here back in the 30s. The structure was deemed unfit in 2008 and was torn down. Now the only thing that remains is the old fireplace and the cache!
