This cache has been approved by DCNR.
This hunt requires only a short walk along an established forest road and a shorter off-trail walk to ground zero. Neither the walk nor the hunt should be too taxing, but the scenery on the way is pleasant, especially at the stream crossing you will encounter. Once at the site, the cache, a camouflaged plastic box, should be relatively easy to find. Tree canopy in the summer may increase the difficulty of the hunt. Winter snow cover will make the hunt much more difficult. As always, when entering a forested area, be alert for venomous snakes, ticks and other unpleasant critters, especially when reaching into hidey-holes. During the hunting seasons, always wear BLAZE ORANGE.
