LNT-5 Minimize campfire impacts.

Part 5 of a 7 part series - Each highlighting one of the 7 Leave-No-Trace Principles.

This spot is probably the most popular put in. No dam. No grumpy fly-fishermen, But still a neat ride down-river. There’s a race held here every spring too.

This is more pertinent to guideline 3, but in 2002 or 2003 Cub Scout pack 15 came in here and cleaned out enough garbage to pile high on a 4x8 trailer. (visit link) has a pretty good outline on Leave-No Trace.
