My original idea was to put a traditional cache actually Underneath the Arches, because there is a very unusual view from here which I think you would all be interested to see, but I then thought that perhaps this was not a good idea, as someone might mistakenly think it was a bomb! So I decided to make this a simple one stage multi-cache. There is room to park a car or two at the side of the road, opposite where the footpath to the viaduct starts.
Underneath the Arches, co-ordinates as above, as well as the most unusual view, you will find the answers to the following questions.
How many arches are there? (You don't need to try and count them!) Answer = AB
In what year was the viaduct completed. Answer = CDEF
The cache can be found about a quarter of a mile further along the footpath at:-
