This cache is inspired by Shakespeare's comedy As You Like
It. I found a special spot in the woods which reminded me
of this play as the exiled group took up residence at a pleasant
spot in the Arden Forest. If I had to live in these woods, this is
the spot I would pick. A synopsis of the play as well as the full
text can be found here. Recently, a film
adaptation of the play was directed by Kenneth Branagh and
starred Brian Blessed and Kevin Kline. I think these guys walk on
water, but I just couldn't get comfortable with the concept of this
production setting in feudal Japan.
While exploring these woods after doing a nearby cache, I came
across a great spot that I just had to share with everyone. When
you get there, you'll see what I mean. It's a bit of a bushwhack to
get there, but I you'll think it worth it.
"All the world 's a stage, and all the
men and women merely players. They have their exits and their
entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts."
(Act II, Scene VII)
"I like this place and willingly could
waste my time in it"
(Act II, Scene IV)
Like all my other Shakespeare caches, you do not have to read
the play to find the cache.
