On The Fells/Hay Refuge
While doing geocaches in this area, The Saint and I stopped by this wonderful refuge. The multiple trails, the gardens, the outdoor statues make it a wonderful experience. We asked and got permission to place a geocache on this site, to which we were very pleased. The cache is a plastic lock box which has the usually trade items plus a ready made micro cache for the FTF. Parking can be found at the entrance. N43.21.093 W072.02.444. The gardens and grounds are open from dawn to dusk year round. To check when the Main House is open, please go to (visit link) They have an admission fee for upkeep of the refuge, members free, non members there is an inexpensive fee. No need to go off the trails for this cache.
