I ended up here when trusting in "the force"
Paper roads (grrr) can be a problem when navigating in a road
vehicle. I headed here, past other tempting spots as the PDA marked
this as close to the centre of "the Island". The turn off was very
little help to me....
Set in the rural landscape, near the middle of this now well
developed Island, I felt the it might be nice to have a spot close
to the main road. Sort of.
Cache is a 200ml systema container with the usual pen, back up
pencil and log book
A spot to ponder how many other Islands there may be we don't
acknowledge. Funny to think the bridges we often drive over as we
pass by here are actually leading us onto this. Anyway, enjoy the
view...
Also dropped in Steinwälzers Rhein-Nahe Geocoin 2007, sent to us
kindly for release in New Zealand on behalf. Hope it enjoys the
start of its new adventures, and roams the countryside with speed
