An ammo box, placed along the Cape to Cape track, with great views
of Conto's Beach. Cache hidden in the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National
Park.
The closest walk in is from Conto Rd, you can park where the track
crosses the road, near S34 04.907 E115 00.489. Conto Rd is a
gravel/limestone track, but is pretty well maintained and
accessible to any vehicle.
Follow the Cape to Cape track the whole way until about 30m to go.
Distance from car to cache is about 700m. The track is quite rocky
in places, so you would be best off leaving the stroller behind.
Bring some water, as it can get very hot around here in
summer.
Cache is a small ammo box, stocked with the usual goodies as well
as a FTF certificate.
If you feel so inclined, continue on along the Cape to Cape track,
and you will come to Bob's Hollow, a limestone cliff, another 2km
on from this cache. It's a nice walk with stunning scenery, and you
might even find another cache there.
