Geocache Description:

Easy access to this micro-cache. Bring a pen and your stealth.

Adolf Cluss was a German-born immigrant who became one of the most important architects in Washington, DC in the late 19th century. Included among his designs are the Old Patent Office Building (now the National Portrait Gallery and American Art Museum); the Smithsonian Castle Building; the Masonic Temple at 9th and F Streets, NW; Eastern Market; and Caldwell Hall, the original building of The Catholic University of America.

This micro-cache sits outside one of my favorite Cluss-designed buildings completed in 1866.

Congratulations to camzotter on the FTF!
