As glacier_ice indicated, we searched for a lenghty time for the evil gnome, but it was not to be. We will be back, to be sure!

Wagonmaker and I arrived at stage 1 and after waiting for a muggle to pass by, I put my 'search for Evil' hat on and had the first stage in under 60 seconds. Well done! First time I was here, there were so many mozzies, I just couldn't even think 'Evil.'Arrived at stage 2 a little while later and realized I must have dropped my 'Evil' hat along the way. This one remained hidden from sight. Used a PAF for insight and it still wasn't helpful. The PAF call indicated that snow might be a factor. Looks like a future return to this one for us.

What an evil little cache. In the middle of the forest no less.
It took 3 trips and about 30 minutes searching each time before we were finally successful.
