com este cântico que todos os caloiros (Lodos e Lamas) são
recebidos na Universidade de Aveiro. Foi o que aconteceu connosco
há uns anos atrás e por isso esta cache é a nossa homenagem a uma
instituição e uma cidade fantásticas, em que crescemos e aprendemos
muito… e sobretudo, fizemos muitos e bons amigos.

is with this song that all freshmen are received in the University
of Aveiro . It also happened with us, some years ago and therefore
this cache is our homage to the city and to the University, where
we grew and learned a lot… and above all, we made many good
friends.
A Universidade
A
Universidade de Aveiro (UA) é uma instituição pública que tem como

O Campus
Edifícios para ensino e investigação, residências para alunos e
docentes, refeitórios, bibliotecas, livrarias, salas para
conferências e espectáculos, galerias para exposições, pavilhão
desportivo, pista de atletismo, lavandarias, correios, banco,
lojas, jardim infantil e creche. Tudo isto num único campus,
rodeado pela beleza natural de antigas salinas e apenas a dois
passos do centro da cidade.
Com projectos assinados pelos melhores
arquitectos nacionais, o Campus de Santiago é uma sala de
exposições da arquitectura portuguesa contemporânea, visitada por
inúmeros especialistas ou simples curiosos vindos de todo o mundo.

Buildings for education and investigation, residences for pupils
and professors, refectories, libraries, bookstores, rooms for
conferences and shows, galleries for expositions, sport pavilion,
post offices, bank, stores and day-care center. Everything this in
an only campus, encircled for the natural beauty of old salt mines
and only the two steps downtown.
With buildings signed for the best national architects, the Campus
of Santiago is an exhibition hall of the Portuguese contemporary
architecture, visited by specialists and simple curious from the
whole world. We left you some information concerning some of these
buildings.

A Cache
Esta é uma multi-cache que vos vai dar a conhecer alguns dos pontos
mais bonitos e interessantes do Campus Universitário de Santiago
(vulgo Universidade de Aveiro). Todo percurso pode demorar uns bons
30 minutos se for feito com calma, o que também é aconselhável,
para que desfrutem do campus e das vistas sobre a
ria.
Para começar, aconselhamos o estacionamento no
Waypoint PARK que fica num dos vários parques de estacionamento que
a Universidade possui. Este waypoint é válido para o fim-de-semana,
pois durante a semana, pode ser complicado estacionar, por isso
terão que ser pacientes e dar asas à imaginação.
Caso pretendam procurar esta cache de noite, é
essencial a utilização de uma boa lanterna, que ilumine bem a uns
10-15 metros, principalmente para a obtenção da coordenada
final.
A
cache final é um pequeno tupperware embrulhado num saco plástico
cinzento.
Para iniciar a cachada, devem deslocar-se às
coordenadas publicadas, onde vão retirar dados para responder à
questão para encontrar o ponto seguinte. Em cada um dos pontos
intermédios, o processo repete-se.
Uma calculadora vai ajudar. Façam o trabalho de
casa, é muito pouco.

This is a multi-cache that goes to show you some of the most
interesting and prettiest points of the University Campus of
Santiago. Find this cache can take you 30 minutes if going calmly,
what is also recommended, so that you will enjoy the campus and the
sights.
To start, we recommend stop your car in Waypoint PARK that it is
one of the parking of the University. This waypoint is valid for
the end-of-week, therefore during the week, it can be complicated
to park.
In case that you intend to search this cache on night, the use of
a good lantern that illuminates well to 10-15 meters is
recomended.
The final cache a small container wrapped up in a grey plastic
bag.
To initiate the caching, go to the published coordinates, where
you will get the answer to the question that will give you the next
waypoint. In each one of the intermediate points, the process is
the same.
