Burns Hill Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

wemedge: I've thought a lot about whether to keep this running or archive it, but have finally decided to let it go. It seems every time I'd check on it, it wouldn't be in its intended hiding spot (which was meant to be a fun surprise) and was always sitting in plain view. Maybe I'll place another cache up here in a different spot at some point.

Thanks to all who visited! Remember, there's still a fun little nano to be found at the bottom of the hill. [}:)]

Geocache Description:

Located in the Hitchiner Town Forest in Milford, NH. This 208-acre area is home to deer, wild turkey, grouse, weasels, mink, fisher, rabbits, fox and porcupine.

One of the well-marked trails that climb Burns Hill was laid out as an impressive Eagle Scout project. The hill itself is not on town property but forms part of the trail with permission of its owner and provides somewhat limited views.

More information about the forest can be found here.

Take Osgood Rd to Mullen Rd (watch for the hiker crossing sign as Mullen Rd is easy to miss) and continue to the large parking/picnic area at the end.

The cache is a traditional Lock & Lock, and there is no need to move any stones to find it.
