An easy walk to a little known geological feature.

XC has often driven past this spot and thought.. "I wonder how these lumps or mounds were formed.??"

Decided that it was time to stop here on a day off skiing and find out. The "Geology Professor" TechnoKitten is only too pleased to offer an answer to this question. But XC wanted to go find out for himself.

An nice path to the summit of one of the mounds where you will find an information board with the "latest" opinion as to how these mounds were formed..
