res2100: Someone mentioned that the area up top here was burned and I assume the bush went in the blaze too, along with the cache. Time to archive it. Anyone that visited but didn't find the cache is more than welcome to log it as a find.

Geocache Description:

The tall spires of the eroded sandstone cliffs in Cathedral Bluffs Park rise more than 90 metres above Lake Ontario. This is the highest point along the bluffs, a result of the coincidence of the Lake Ontario and glacial Lake Iroquois shorelines.

The cache is hidden on the top of the Cathedral. Please be careful as you are VERY close to the Cathedral's edge, but there is no reason to go over the edge. It's hidden in the only bush there.

If you are very ambitious and adventurous why not try a true challenge and approach from the bottom, but this would make it a 5/5 cache.

Note: This cache is about bringing people to a location with a fabulous view and not about the cache container itself. I had 6 containers with me today when we hid this one and this just happened to be the best container that suited the location. In the end we wound up placing 4 caches today and used all 6 containers. If you are looking for a cache to trade items, then this one isn't it. If you are looking for a unique spot with some wow factor, then you will like this location.
