Geocache Description:

Just a little zinger for you. This type of puzzle can be found in many areas of the country. Thought it might be time to introduce one here. Do not go to the posted coordinates. They are bogus.

One of the benefits of membership in geocaching.com is that you have the option of receiving notification of new caches in your area. Among other things, this information includes the distance to those new caches. In order to calculate these distances, geocaching.com has established baseline coordinates in each city/town from which to make these measurements. To find this cache you must first determine the baseline coordinates used by geocaching.com for Harvey. Known now as GZ-Harvey.

In order to find the cache you must proceed from these GZ coordinates 974 yards on a bearing of 170 degrees True. You will find the cache there.

The hide is not meant to be difficult. You are looking for a medium size Rubbermaid container.

You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.
